Experienced Wood Machinist

We are a small bespoke furniture company that prides itself on the quality of our workmanship, we make furniture for many high-profile blue-chip companies along with offering our unique service to the residential sector. We require an experienced Wood Machinist, the job role of the Wood Machinist are as follows –

* Tthe candidate should have a minimum of 5 yrs experience with using a variety of hand tools

* Tthe candidate should have experience working with; Panel saw, overhead router, planer/thicknesser and edgebanding machine. CNC knowledge would be helpful but not a necessity.

* The machinist must be able to read and be able to work from working drawings and be able to create his/her own cutting list from the drawings working with materials economically with the minimum amount of waste.

The Wood Machinist must have

* You must be fluent in English.

* You must have a full driving licence and be able to get to our place of work.

* You must have a minimum of 5 yrs experience with references.

* Positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to all challenges put to them in a bespoke environment.

Hours of working for the Wood Machinist week Monday – Thursday 07:30am – 17:30pm Friday 07:30am – 15:30pm

Pay for the Wood Machinist is negotiable according to experience.

Leave for the Wood Machinist – 23 days annual holiday + Bank Holidays
