The client we are recruiting for is a well-established Smart meter company looking to expand the team with experienced Smart Meter Engineers

Job Details:

All contracts are 40 hours per week, predominately Monday to Friday however the occasional evening and weekend may be required.
There will 2 x 30 minutes travel time unpaid which is at the start and end of every day, however any travel throughout the working day goes towards your 40 hours per week.
Some contracts will have an on-call rota for emergencies and weekend working so potential candidates need to be aware that a degree of flexibility will be required, should the contract they are assigned to require it.
Starting salary will be £32 – £34K (dependant on experience and additional qualifications such as 3 phase etc) plus a 2-tier bonus scheme which could take earnings per annum to £40K.The bonus scheme is split off into 2 tiers.

One tier is for £1600 split over the course of 12 months. This is based on their performance/audits etc and each month they achieve target for this, they receive £100 and if it consecutively over 3 months they receive an additional £100
The other tier is based on installations carried out per day/per week. This would take it up to the £40K depending how many additional installs you achieve.Other Information:

Company van, tools, PPE, phone, and tablet are all provided along with 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), statutory pension scheme, genuine career development opportunities.

EUSR and gas qualifications (CMA1, MET1, CCN1, Level 2 or 3 diploma in Smart Metering) must have at least 6 months validity.

EUSR cards must have the following listed:

Smart Metering (Electricity) Single PhaseOR

Smart Metering (Electricity) Single Phase /off Multi PhaseAND

Smart Metering (Gas)
