FC4 – Estimator [Landscaping]
Location – Milton Keynes
Salary – £30,000 to £40,000 DOE

Overview

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit an Estimator to be a part of their successful growing business. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone who has built up their estimating experience and would now like the opportunity to develop further.
It would be advantageous if your background is within landscaping or construction however this is not essential, we are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude that can take responsibility for completing and managing their own workload.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Price work in a timely manner with all supporting documentation.
Gaining quotes from suppliers and contractors within timeframes.
Bringing new ideas to improve the cost estimating process.
Monitoring costs on projects to help improve the estimation process.
Preparing progress reports on current works, working closely with other internal teams.
Supporting in bids and tenders.
Working on hard and soft landscaping projects worth over £2m.

Essential Skills and experience in any of the following:

Price work in a timely manner with all supporting documentation.
Gaining quotes from suppliers and contractors within timeframes.
Bringing new ideas to improve the cost estimating process.
Monitoring costs on projects to help improve the estimation process.
Ability to use and read scale drawing programs.
Preparing progress reports on current works, working closely with other internal teams.
Supporting in bids and tenders.
Working on hard and soft landscaping projects worth over £2m.
Critical-thinker and problem-solver.
Able to work on multiple tasks and tenders at one given time.
In return our client offers:

A salary ranging from £30,000 to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience.
A Monday to Friday working week, 8:30am-5:00pm
