Due to growth our client is looking to add to their estimating team. You will be working for a main contractor based in Milton Keynes costing primarily new build projects in both the commercial and Industrial sector as well as refurbishment projects. Given their location in Milton Keynes, they work for clients in the Home Counties and North London.

The job:
You will be the primary person responsible for tendering new projects, working alongside another Estimator and reporting directly to the MD for new tenders and ongoing project. You will work autonomously to manage tender due dates and ensure source suppliers to work on 2 stage tenders and special orders. Direct contact with clients and site visits will occasionally be required.

Qualifications & Experience:
Experience as an Estimator for a main contractor is highly advantageous, candidates with other Estimating experience will still be considered. To be successful you will need to be based near to Hertfordshire and able to travel in along with having commercial awareness of all types of contracting. A BSc in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying is desirable, although any equivalent qualification would still be acknowledged
