Interiors Estimator
A well-known construction company in Milton Keynes have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join their interiors division

Our client work with the leading construction companies and the interiors division specialising mainly in dry lining, floors and ceilings.
Business is booming, financially they are in a great place with a strong pipeline of work secured for this year
You will be joining a strong team, working on impressive schemes up to around £60m for high end clients
Interiors Estimator
Key requirements of the role.
* Understanding the client's needs and expectations.
* Reading drawings and complete details measurements for lump sum tenders.
* Obtaining quotes for all scope requirements from sub-contractors and suppliers
* Collating detailed price lists of everything needed on each tender.
* Calculating the cost of materials, labour and prelims for tendered scope.
* Compiling tender submissions and issuing to potential clients within a timely manner.
* Presenting bids to clients and answering their mid and post tender queries.
* Making use of relevant computer software such as Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Viewer
* Keeping up to date with inflation, exchange rates and projected timescale costs.
* Attending meetings and site visits with potential clients.
* Building and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
* Liaising with others team members including construction managers, planners and design teams to ensure tenders are compliant with client and main contractor requirements.
* Organised team player working in a fast passed pre-construction sales team environment.
Requirement for international travel.

The right person:
You will ideally have 1 + years’ experience working in an Estimating role
Deadline driven
You will be confident and diligent
Salary from £20 – 50,000 + car or allowance package
Working hours 8-5.30pm
