About The Role
The role will assist in the development and delivery of the stakeholder and interface engagement strategy, with direct accountability for managing community relations for a geographical section of the route, and will be the main point of contact for local community groups on behalf of the Integrated Project Team. The role may also act as main point of contact for other stakeholders as appropriate, across a wider footprint.
Manage appropriate Undertakings and Assurances related to engagement, including provision of evidence.
Working with project delivery teams, have an up to date knowledge of our design, scope of works and construction methodology for each area.
Be conversant with local issues and ensure wider team are briefed on any issue of note.
Work closely with Community Champion on each site to ensure that the whole workforce (including subcontractors) appreciate and understand local sensitivities and we comply with our obligations for delivering Advance Work Notices.
Working with Community Champion and Communications team to create relevant news bulletins and public facing information

Knowledge of the rail/infrastructure/construction industry, and familiar with local matters

About The Company
