New Build Domestic Electrical Installer

£40k basic pa + bonus pay + 29 days paid annual leave + company van + fuel card + iphone + training & progression opportunities

You will work on new build sites and brand-new homes. This could include site compound installations, individual plots, 1st & 2nd fixing as well as testing.

Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Required Driving License: Full
Job Location: Central & South Midlands
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm, you will participate in a paid out of hours on call rota (1 in 3 weekends).

Role & Responsibilities

To carry out electrical installations to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

*

Record keeping & reporting to head office

The Person

*

Sound knowledge of both fixed wiring & installation works, along with inspecting and testing

*

Self-motivated & methodical working process

*

Positive can-do attitude and able to follow instructions

*

Ability to think on your feet, act on own initiative & to adapt to any given situation

*

Excellent communication skills & able to effectively communicate & report to the team

*

Ability to interpret and work to electrical technical drawings Required Experience

*

Electrical Installations to New Build Homes: 1 year

*

Inspection & Testing: 1 year

Required Qualifications

* Hold a valid ECS Gold Card: Installation Electrician (Gold) or above

City & Guilds 2392 Inspection & Testing
