New Build Domestic Electrical Installer
£27-£30k basic pa + up to £40k OTE + van + fuel card + iphone + training opportunities
Are you an ambitious & enthusiastic electrician who would like to be part of a progressive team in a growing company?
On offer is an excellent opportunity where you will be provided with training and opportunities to progress as an electrician within the organisation.
You will be attending various sites in and across the Midlands and South Midlands, working on new build sites and brand-new homes. This could include site compound installations, individual plots, 1st & 2nd fixing as well as testing.
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Required Driving License: Full
Job Location: Varied –Central & South Midlands
Hours: Monday-Friday + participation in an out of hours emergency call rota (one weekend in three + holiday cover where required)
Role & Responsibilities:
* To carry out electrical installations to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Record keeping & reporting to head office
The Person:
*
* Sound knowledge of both fixed wiring & installation works, along with inspecting and testing
* Self-motivated electrician & methodical working process
* Positive can-do attitude
* Ability to identify faults & report back
* Ability to think on your feet, act on own initiative & to adapt to any given situation
* Excellent communication skills & able to effectively communicate & report to the team
* Sound IT skills required in order to report using electronic diary system
* Ability to interpret and work to electrical technical drawings
Required Experience:
*
* Electrical Installations to New Build Homes: 1 year
* Inspection & Testing: 1 year
Required Qualifications:
*
* Hold a valid ECS Gold Card: Installation Electrician or above
* City & Guilds 2392 Inspection & Testing
* 18 Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671
