Electrical Project Manager required for a well-established and successful M&E Contractor, based out of their Buckinghamshire office.
Electrial Project Manager's Main purpose of job:
To successfully manage a range of small works projects by the application of processes, methods, knowledge, skills and experience to deliver projects on time, within budget and meeting customer expectations.
Main Duties for the Electrical Project Manager:
* Responsible for the project lifecycle, ensuring all projects run on time and within budget
* Outlining timescales, costs and resources needed to design and deliver an electrical operations project
* Understanding what the client or company wants to achieve
* Ensure all project requirements are captured by an accurate specification, estimating resource and timescales and quoting financially accurate
* Monitor the progress of projects against plans
* Scheduling the works, communicating and problem solving
* Managing the risks, issues and changes to projects
* Deal with all customer enquiries
* Responsible for quoting on prospective projects ensuring all costs are accurately captured and reported
* Overseeing several aspects of a project at the same time
* Line Management responsibility for Engineers and Sub Contractors
* Sharing regular progress reports with clients and stakeholders
* Conducts surveys on customer sites
* Source and order best priced materials, Procurement.
* Provide & Review certification
Skills and Experience required for the Electrical Project Manager:
* Leadership and management
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent project management skills ensuring projects run on time and to budget and meet the expectations of the customer
* Ability to undertake effective project scheduling
* Ability to undertake risk management activities for projects
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Critical Thinking – being objective when analysing or evaluating a project/business issue
* Ability to manage a number of different tasks
* At least 4 years’ experience of working as a Electrical Project Manager or a similar role
