The Client

Mech Electrics are currently recruiting for a client who provides large integrated safety and security solutions for mixed purpose buildings UK wide. They provide bespoke works for major companies within the D&B and M&E industries and prides itself on producing high standards of workmanship and currently have two Electrical Installation Engineer roles in the Milton Keynes area.

The Role and its Responsibilities

* Installing and maintaining security systems including remote closing security doors, alarm systems and CCTV.

* Installing electrical cabling on above applications

* Identifying and replacing poor wiring and previous install work, that may not be fit for purpose

The Individual

Our client is looking for applicants who can effectively plan their working weeks around the works required and are happy to travel and on occasion stay away from home. Full training and support will be given for this role and, whilst not a necessity for the role, an understanding of the software that controls the security doors would be an advantage!

Skills and Qualifications

* 18th Edition

* ECS Card

* Security clearance required for works on Ministry of Justice properties – this may take some time between securing the role and a start date in the role.

Salary

* Expensed company van

* Nightly allowance when required

* Travel time paid once .5 hour away from home
