Document Control Assistant – Buckinghamshire – c.£20,000 – Permanent

Kenton Black are currently working with a main contractor to recruit a Document Control Assistant, based out of their head office in the Buckinghamshire region. You will be working under the Design Manager as part of the Design Team, on multiple commercial and industrial contracts, ranging from £1m – £20m in value. The nature of the projects will generally be industrial units comprising of steel frame, metal cladding, category A fit out and external works including civils & drainage.

You will enjoy working for a progressive company who has an excellent client base and a constant pipeline of work (largely through repeat business).

Key roles and Responsibilities

• Filing drawings and other documents electronically onto Box
• Numbering and labelling documents for identification and reference
• Filing hard copies of drawings
• Printing drawings for the office
• Printing drawings for site along with a drawing issue register
• Creating and maintaining drawing issue registers
• Creating and updating client data rooms on Box
• Creating and updating data room distribution list
• Issuing drawings to sub-contractors
• Distributing drawing comments
• Assisting the main office with answering the phone

Background/experience

• Strong I.T skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Previous experience as an administrator.
