A commercial hotel, retail and fast food developer based in Milton Keynes is looking for an energetic Development Manager to join their small team. Expectation is for you to work from home and attend the office 1 day a week. The role will manage site identification, acquisition, design, planning, consents, and handover to the internal construction team.

Responsibilities

* Manage all site identification and acquisition.

* Manage all negotiations with landowners/landlords, Planning Authorities, Highways England and other stakeholders.

* Manage all pre-acquisition feasibility, viability reports.

* Manage concept design using internal design team.

* Manage planning process.

* Monitoring the delivery programme to deliver in budget and on time.

* Manage the tendering, appointment, coordination and payment of consultants.

* Manage the design and construction team to ensure delivery to the highest standards.

Qualifications/Experience

* Degree ideally in property / construction or similar.

* Strong communication skills internally as well as with stake holders and board level interaction.

* Highly motivated and ambitious individual who can work individually or as part of a team.

* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt to change.

* Development appraisals experience.

* Experience of negotiating and influencing effectively.

* Knowledge and experience of contracts Management.

* Highly driven and resilience to change with a focus to achieve
