Fawkes and Reece are currently seeking an ambitious Design Manager to join a leading Main Contractor in their mission to strengthen the team and tackle large scale education and industrial projects. Based in Buckinghamshire, they are a distinguished company in the industry, withholding a solid reputation and implementing strong employee values.

Due to repeated success and numerous industry accolades, our client is eager to take on large scale, exciting new-build projects with the help of a strengthened design team to ensure smooth running of these projects from start to finish. You will be managing a small team of Design Co-ordinators, whilst reporting into a Senior Design Manager directly. You will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of each project, delivering up to date design information in accordance with agreed budgets and time schedules. You will play a fundamental role in ensuring industry standard is met and each project is completed to a high quality level.

An excellent design team will ensure that you are welcomed in to a culture of fair and flexible working, in order to feel valued and comfortable as an employee.

Essential experience:

Previously managed a new build industrial project
Previous management of a small design team
A degree or HNC/HND in relevant construction or design field.This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to excel in an expanding company with plenty of room for progression and career development.
