About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
We are looking to recruit a Delivery Assurance Officer to join the Compliance and Assurance team. In this role you'll report to the Lead Auditor and you will plan and execute the assurance activities at delivery sites across the project.
You will contribute to the creation of the risk-based audit and assurance programme both internal and external. We would also like you to ensure the assurance of the technical processes on site.
You must also ensure that the standard and consistency of auditing and reporting is of high quality. In this role you will need to assess and evaluate non-conformities, including coordination of any corrective action, and ensure that close out of findings are monitored and verified correctly.
We would like you to develop and utilise relationships with client representatives and stakeholders both internal and external. We would also expect you to use relevant IT systems to manage all relevant audit reports, findings and other relevant records.
In this role you will deliver training and awareness packages as part of a wider programme for delivery teams. You must lead continuous improvement of standard practices and procedures in the Business Management System through stakeholder engagement.
About The Candidate
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Experience conducting audit and assurance activities in a construction/non-construction environment and/or technical quality specialism
Diploma or Certificate in a relevant subject (desired)
Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 preferred)
Professional Membership of a relevant institution, e.g. CQI, IOSH, IEMA (desired)
Full UK Driving License
Proven experience in delivering internal and second party integrated programmes (preferably in the construction or other regulated sector)
Knowledge and experience of auditing and assurance in a multi-disciplinary environment
Experience of using digital systems to support audit and assurance activities.
