Customer Service Manager
Based in Milton Keynes
Salary £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
This role is an integral part of our clients customer service team and you will be required to use your outstanding customer service skills to maintain and develop client relationships.
You will be responsible for business development whilst motivating, managing and directing the customer service team to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. T
Your duties will include:
Direct and line manage a customer service team
Internal communications – deliver internal updates to the customer service team to ensure correct and informed decisions are delivered
Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies
Build and maintain relationships internally and externally
Oversee the effective use of customer systems such as EDI (electronic data interchange) and assist and train the customer service team
Monitor website activity via emails, ensuring smooth process of order receipts and Work closely with IT and Web developer to resolve any issues.
Manage difficult customer calls and find positive resolutions
Represent customer service team at sales meetings, including some occasional off-site customer meetings
Train and continual develop the customer service team and identify training needs
Undertake supervision, 1-1's and appraisals for the customer service team We are looking for that exceptional candidate who has at least 2 years experience in a customer service management role. You should have management, training and coaching experience.
Knowledge of a CRM system is essential .
