Our client, a Main Contractor, based in Milton Keynes, are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join them due to continued growth. The Construction Project Manager will be working on small works such as office fit-outs, maintenance works, partitions etc. with values from £1k to £150k. The Project Manager will have complete project responsibility and will oversee projects from inception to completion. The work will include completing take offs, liaising with labour only sub-contractors and arranging materials via the procurement department. The role will be split roughly 50/50 between office and site.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role with a strong knowledge of the commercial sector working on small works to £150k. The Construction Project Manager will need to be familiar with working alongside labour only sub-contractors, with an excellent knowledge's of construction materials and ideally take offs.

Construction Project Manager Position Requirements

Must have prior experience working in a similar role (small works, fit-outs etc.)
Full UK driving licence
Happy to travel for projects
Up to date certificates (SMSTS / CSCS etc.)
Commercial project experience is essential (fit-outs, warehousing, offices, etc.)
Ideally competent with Take Offs (not essential)
Must be familiar with labour only sub-contractors and a range of internal materials
Good tenure (not too much freelance work)
Trades background is advantageous, not essential (ideally dry lining, joinery, partitions etc.)
