Construction Site Manager – with Food Manufacturing knowledge

Based in Milton Keynes

12 week contract as it stands now – may extend

Pay £300-£350 per day

As Project Manager you will successfully manage all aspects of the construction site with responsibility for, trades and material co-ordination, site presentation and cost control. You will head a team of operatives ensuring that they are working safely and efficiently, liaise with head office regarding administration to ensure the smooth running of the project.

The position will see the right person based in Milton Keynes looking after one

of my clients large customers.

The key role of the Project Manager will be to:

* Help the Client develop their preliminary business case and initial strategic brief

* Help the Client to organise themselves and identify the roles and responsibilities of their representatives

* Issue information and instructions on behalf of the Client

* Manage a project execution plan, including selection of procurement route and contracts

* Contribute to risk management exercises

* Contribute to value management exercises

* Contribute to design reviews

* Advise on the selection of contractors

* Validate payments

* Oversee change control procedures

* Advise on disputes

* Monitor and assess overall client programmes and cost plans (which may include items beyond the scope of the main contract or consultant’s appointments)

* Advise on the transition from construction to occupation

* Report to the Client
