Our client, a Main Contractor, based in Milton Keynes, are seeking a Construction Buyer to join them due to continued growth. The Construction Buyer will be working on projects varying nature and value in the commercial sector, with works ranging from a small fit-out to a new-build industrial unit or warehouse. The Buyer will be office based and will be responsible for procuring a range of materials for the projects, liaising closely with the commercial team.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role with a strong knowledge of commercial projects including warehousing and fit-outs. The Buyer will also need to be based within commuting distance of Milton Keynes and will be seeking a long term role.

Prior experience working in construction purchasing
OR have experience working for a Builders Merchants
A knowledge of fit-out projects / materials is advantageous
Based local to Milton Keynes
