About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
EKFB Are looking to recruit a Consents Technical Administrator.
The Consents Technical Administrator:
Will provide support to the Planning Consents Team in with all technical administration.
Support the Planning Consents Team with the pre-application and submission process for Schedule 17 and other planning submissions
Sets up the Council meeting folders on the Local Planning Authority Sharepoint site and monitors and amends folders for pre-application consultation as the programme evolves. Supports in drafting the agendas. Ensures plans are in pre-app folders 1 week in advance of pre-apps, coordinates with the design team and keeps the Planning Team updated.
Sets up each planning submission on the Planning Portal in line with HS2 Planning Forum Notes guidance to enable the Planners to compete a formal submission, issues validation letters to HS2 and records evidence of approval on the EKFB document management system.
Obtains document numbers for minutes and presentations and records are pre-application meeting minutes on the document management system.
Arranges for final design logs to be recorded on the document management system
Supports with any other administration within the Planning Consents Team as required.
About The Candidate
Knowledge of construction projects and the functions within (desirable)
IT skills – Office, SharePoint, Document Management Systems, awareness of GIS platforms and databases
Technical qualification or A levels
Possession of good organisational and communication skills
