Reliable Contractors Ltd are currently looking for Concrete Finishers to work on the EKFB HS2 project.

Minimum Competencies Required:

* CSCS Green Labourer Card.

Site Location – Greatworth.

The duties of a concrete finisher operative include:

– Working as part of a gang under supervision of a ganger
– Working with a variety of different teams on site, such as the Finishing team etc
– Completing any remedial work as and when required
– Pouring concrete either by hand, or using a pump checking concrete forms (moulds)
– Mixing concrete to the correct specifications
– Spreading, levelling and smoothing concrete using a variety of specialist equipment
– Moulding expansion joints and edges
– Following reading and drawings
– Monitoring the effects of weather on concrete
– Facilitating concrete pouring
– Operating precast machinery
– Quality checking products
– Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

Travel expenses will be included – Full time contract – 30 paid holidays per year – Upskilling provided – Long term project – Weekends will be available – Sunday: Double time – Saturday: First first 4 hours time and half and last 6 hours double time.
