Our client, a Main Contractor, based in Milton Keynes, are seeking a Commercial Manager to join them due to continued growth. The Commercial Manager will be managing a team of Quantity Surveyors working in the commercial sector, with projects ranging from a small fit-out to a new-build industrial unit or warehouse with values up to £15 million. The Commercial Manager will be working closely with the Operations Director to help with project delivery.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have prior experience in a SQS, Managing Surveyor or Commercial Manager position in the construction industry with a knowledge of commercial projects. The Commercial Manager will also need to be based within commuting distance of Milton Keynes and will need to be looking for a long term role. Experience managing a team and multiple projects at any one time is essential.

Commercial Manager Position Requirements

Prior experience in a similar role
Based local to Milton Keynes (within 1.5 hours)
Full driving licence
Commercial project experience, knowledge of fit-outs and warehousing is needed
Open to candidates looking for the next step- SQS / Managing Surveyor's
Good tenure (no job hopping)
