We are a bespoke Joinery and furniture manufacturer seeking a experianced CNC Operator to machine cutting requirements to accomdate Cabinet Makers requirements thoughout the manufacuring process of high end joinery and furniture items.
Main Objective: To assist CNC Programmer/Supervisor to run out timber cutting lists for Cabinet Makers to produce bespoke joinery and furniture items within a busy workshop manufacturing environment.
*Mentoring/Training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prioritise workload as advised by Head of CNC and Management.
* Conduct daily warmup on the machine prior to running any work through.
* Work from specification drawings, check dimensions are correct before performing on the machine for production.
* Setting up the machine when required, and accurately, to perform tasks, including drilling, grinding, and milling.
* Load materials onto the machines, ensuring to maintain safe operating practices.
* Operate and inspect the machines daily to ensure best output is produced.
* Change tools on machine as and when required to ensure standard of output is consistent.
* Regularly inspects machines for mechanical and safety issues and report to head of CNC.
* Report error codes immediately to head of CNC.
* Utilize stock to ensure minimal waste is produced.
* Clean as you go, with daily tidy and fortnightly Deep Clean of the CNC area.
* Pays constant attention to surroundings to reduce accidents and injuries.
* Ensure production output is to company quality standard before moving along the production line.
* Works cordially with team members.

Essential requirements:
* Experience using H8, H10, and Format 4 Edge bander
* Confident reading technical 2D AutoCAD drawings.
* Computer literate.
* Good level of spoken and written English Language.
* Physically able to stand for long periods and Manual handle.
