Main Objective 'Carpenter' : To install bespoke joinery and furniture items, for the high end commercial client, including but not limited to; Tea Points, Carcasses, Worktops, Ceiling Features, Display Shelving, Storage Walls, Divider Screens, Reception Desks, Booth Seating. Items are varied and diverse; a fantastic oportunity to enhance personal development within a team of experienced Joiners.
Location: Factory based in Milton Keynes, with 90% of our work based in London. Occasional work nationally at the expense of the company, and with overnight incentives.
Salary: Negotiable
The Successful Candidate:
A self motivated and reliable individual, with great attention to detail. Someone who is confident on the tools, and will always see tasks through to completion. Takes pride in the quality of work and ensures client satisfaction.
Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience in Carpentry/Joinery /Shop fitting
* Previous construction site experience (desirable)
* CSCS Card
* Holds a full UK Driving License
* Full set of hand tools; including chisel, block plane & electric drill.
Desirable
* Experience in Bespoke/Commercial Joinery
* CSCS Gold
* Hole saw Kit

Overtime Reward: Mon-Fri (Time + 1/3), Sat (Time + ½), Sun (Double Time).
Overnight Reward: Plus £50 per night, £35 food per day.
'Carpenter' Skills & Attributes:
* Good mathematical skills, with confidence to read detailed technical drawings (2D AutoCAD).
* Can grasp tasks quick, work well under pressure, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
* Can work independantly without guidance, as well as a good team player.
* Good level of English, with ability to communicate effectively.
* Can lead, instruct and direct laborer's and other construction helpers
