Our established Piling client, is seeking an experienced CAD/BIM Manager to be responsible for producing, coordinating and managing technical drawings and models in line with the project specifications and requirements. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for matters related to CAD and BIM and the role involves working closely with the Project Delivery Team and Senior Management Team.
The successful candidate will come with demonstrable experience and understanding of project processes, workflows, contractual obligations, Excellent IT skills and proficient user of software packages to your role and have the ability to build an excellent relationship with the team through regular communication and intermittent visits to core business and project offices. A self-disciplined and organised approach is required.
3-year fixed term appointment plus Benefits and Car allowance
Responsibilities & Tasks Include:
* Assisting the Senior Management Team to establish the BIM Project Execution Plan such that the requirements of the project are recognised and embedded within the project’s policies and procedures;
* Developing policies, procedures & protocols to be fully compatible with the BIM requirements of our client, whilst respecting the existing BIM policies & procedures of the base business;
* Dealing with digital files and managing drawing and model production;
* Production and submission of CAD Drawings in a professional, accurate and timely manner;
* Production and submission of BIM Models in a professional, accurate and timely manner;
* Integration and interaction with the client’s digital team to;
* Supporting the Operational Teams in producing documentation required for project delivery;
* Ensuring the hardware and software in use is suitable and up to date to ensure that we remain at the forefront of the field;
* Training or upskilling colleagues;
* Keeping up-to-date with advancements in your field.
Due to the current pandemic, the location of this position will suit candidates in central England (Watford to Northampton area). This is a flexible role, with a mix of working from home and site-based working required.
