Business Development Manager / fit-out / general contractor Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Due to expansion we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an established and growing Contractor in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Due to business growth they are looking for another business development manager to take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory.
They specialise in commercial projects. These include: Office fit outs, Industrial builds, and warehouses
Excellent atmosphere within the company, staff morale is high and the team are really friendly and approachable
·PAYE Salary – £55,000.00 per annum
·Start date ASAP

·Working Hours 8am to 5pm

Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager you will report to the Sales Director/Operations Director and will work closely with Head of FM.
You will be part of the sales, pipeline and opportunities biweekly meetings with Senior Team and also the monthly project managers meetings.
Will have monthly review meetings with OD/SD/MD to review progress, successes and support needed, targeting areas of existing business and new local business.
You will develop new clients within travelling distance of Milton Keynes and also help the Head of FM develop relationships with existing clients and other areas of their businesses that they currently don’t service or if they do there is a bigger opportunity to be secured.
Key Responsibilities Business Development Manager
·Growth of the consultancy relationships
·Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
·Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
·Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
·Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
·Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
·Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
·Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
·Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Business Development Manager Requirements:
·Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
·Experience working in a similar role within the construction industry
·Strong communication skills
·IT fluency.
·Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
·Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
