A national structural warranty provider are seeking to grow their current team by appointing a Building Inspector either from a Building Control, Structural Warranty or Clerk of Works inspection background. Desirable applicants will have substantial experience and membership of RICS/CABE/ICWCI. Starting salary of up to £45,000.

Their clients include national house builders, developers and private clients within the residential and commercial sectors. This role fits within the Structural Warranty Inspector team.

As a Building Inspector, your role will involve the following:

Site inspections and surveys on projects that are either completed or under construction
Ensuring work is completed to a standard which complies with current regulations, technical manuals, and health and safety
Completing reports and documentation based on site findings
Frequent liaison with peers and management on technical mattersThe successful Building Inspector will meet the following criteria:

Previous role experience as a Building Control / Structural Warranty Inspector or Clerk of Works
Associate/full member status of RICS/CABE/CIOB/ICWCI
Degree/ NVQ Level 6 qualified in construction related discipline
Understanding of general insurance principles and defect diagnosis
Technical inspection knowledge throughout the build process
In depth knowledge of relevant regulations and health & safety legislation
Full UK driving licenceBenefits:
