About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
We're looking for a BREEAM Assessor to join our Environment & Sustainability team.
As a BREEAM Assessor, you will provide ongoing CEEQUAL management for the project and help the project to achieve its CEEQUAL objectives and aspirations.
You will provide assistant and guidance for all BREEAM/CEEQUAL related matters to construction site teams and carry out assessments of BREEAM/CEEQUAL evidence which will work towards the final award for the project. You will also produce regular reports for sustainability management on the status of the project and attend key project, design, and construction team meetings across the project.
This role will predominantly be office based but you will be expected to visit site regularly to carry out spot checks, help implement and realise environmental & sustainability opportunities for the project. You will Work in collaboration with the wider Environmental Team, client, designers, community, stakeholder, and public relations managers to ensure the programme is achieved.
About The Candidate
You will need to lead by example and promote good practice relating to environmental management & sustainability, sharing best practice and learning.
You will also need –
Degree [or similar] level qualification in engineering/ environment or other relevant field.
Full UK Driving Licence.
CEEQUAL Assessor (V.6)
Experience of having completed previous coequal/BREEAM projects awareness of previous infrastructure schemes including a BREEAM Infrastructure
Chartered Member of an appropriate professional body.
Experience of driving improvements to systems and processes.
Good inter-personal skills and be able to develop and maintain good relationships and networks.About The Company
