Role: Branch Sales Manager – Tool Hire

Sector: Construction / Tool Hire / Plant Hire / Builders Merchants

Location: Aylesbury / Hemel / Buckinghamshire

Salary: £25,000 – £32,000 (Depending on Experience)

We are currently seeking an experienced Tool Hire individual to join a leading Hire Equipment business as their Branch Sales Manager.

This is not the case of running a large tool hire branch where you need years and years of Branch Management experience. This is quite a unique situation where you will be the lead Tool Hire contact within a larger branch environment. You won't be left alone and will be part of a larger team, but you will have the responsibilty for the tool hire sales and although a Manager, you won't have the hassle of having to run a team.

As such this role is suited to a PEOPLE PERSON. Shrinking violets need not apply! We need someone who is outgoing, driven and energetic. There is not hiding away in this role – that simply will not work. We need someone who can communicate, engage and ultimately befriend those builders and trades people that come into the branch in order to help drive tool hire sales.

We imagine this role would be ideal for Assistant Managers, Tool Hire Managers, Tool Hire Supervisors, Sales people from the world of tool hire, builders merchants or general construction sales. However, if you have confidence, drive and get up and go then these are the main skills needs (but don't forget there will always be an element of admin and paperwork to follow up the sales leads). Organisation therefore will also be a factor.

The current tool hire sales equate to £80k per month so there is clearly a ledger of existing and spending accounts that need to be nutured and looked after. But when it's quiet we need you on the phone andin the yard speaking to potential customers.
