BIM Manager (Building Services) Milton Keynes, Bucks

£45K to £55K Dept on Experience Level + excellent benefits package

This role is to join an established consulting engineering practice who specialise in design within the mechanical and electrical field.

Design work undertaken includes refrigeration, sprinkler systems and insulated structure installations, along with all specialist service elements that are required. As a business their building services design expertise covers a range of sectors which have grown to include their specialism, automated warehousing projects for the e-commerce market encompassing general merchandise, clothing and food distribution.

Due to continued growth within the business, they are now looking for a BIM Manager to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Be champion of knowledge for all BIM related items.

* Have a thorough understanding of BIM and able to work within the parameters and demands of projects.

* The ability to execute and deliver projects in a timely manner, be adaptable and independent.

* To provide CAD and Revit training to junior CAD operators and young engineers.

* Managing a team and your own workload and ensuring projects are completed to high standards.

* Identify coordination problems with the model and communicate clearly with the engineering team.

* Identify the requirement for resources, to plan and manage work on projects to programmes.

* Liaise with external design team members when required.

* Develop and improve internal BIM standards.

* Project management and team leadership.

* The role will require travelling as and when required for attendance at offsite meetings or site visits.

Experience Required

* The candidate should ideally have a qualification in Building Services Engineering,

* 7 years’ experience using AutoCAD and Revit software, with strong BIM management experience

* Applicants will have high level of experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, and Navisworks software.

* Have previous experience in a multi-disciplinary draughting role (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health services
