My client, an established housing developer are keen to appoint an Assistant Site Manager on a permanent contract for a multi-phased, mixed use, traditional build project in Milton Keynes, commencing spring 2021
An exciting opportunity for a keen, driven ASM who wants to build on their experience and knowledge whilst working for an established 5 star housing developer.
Duties,
No 2 on site whilst reporting in to the Site Manager
Assist or conduct staff inductions and tool box talks
Help ensure all H&S is adhered on site and trades and labour are working inline with safety procedures
Work inline with site programme
Ensure any issues that cannot be rectified are brought the attention of No 1 on site.
Help organise all trades & Labour and sub-contractors
Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to sub-contractors
Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
Handovers/CMLsQualifications,
Must have at least 2 years experience within an Assistant Site Manager within the housing sector
Experience of working within a production team
Computer literate
Previous new build residential experience,
