ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIRED IN MILTON KEYNES

We are currently looking for an Assistant quantity surveyor/ Graduate Quantity Surveyor for a tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor based in Milton Keynes.

You will be responsible for assisting in cost management & dealing with contractual issues for development projects from pre-op stage through to final settlement.

Key tasks/ Duties:

Preparing plans, contracts, bills of quantities and other documentation

Cost control, writing reports, assisting valuation preparation and submission

Arranging payments to suppliers and contractors, assisting in the selection of suppliers

Preparing tender documents, obtaining & reviewing tenders

Drawing take off and scheduling of materials

Order placement

Project management related services

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience as an Estimator/QS
