Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable and progressive main contractor who operates across a variety of sectors including education, commercial, healthcare, retail & leisure, housing, heritage typically up to £15m in value.

Due to recently securing several new projects across our client is now seeking an Assistant / Intermediate Quantity to join the expanding commercial department.

Duties to include but not limited to:

·       Assist in the preparation of subcontract and material orders.
·       Monthly CVR’S
·       Variations
·       Assist with monthly payments to both suppliers / subcontractors.
·       Administration of contract records
·       Assist in the preparation of final accounts.

Requirements for the Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

·       Degree in Quantity Surveying or construction related qualification.
·       Team player
·       Strong communication kills
·       Conversant with MS Office packages
·       Previous experience in an Assistant / QS role with a main contractor.
·       Working knowledge of JCT suite of contracts including design & build.
