Assistant Quantity Surveyor Commercial New Builds £30k Buckingham based

Working directly for a Main Contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects in the commercial and education sector. Due to the ongoing success of securing new contracts we are looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to live projects in the in the Milton Keynes and Buckingham area. Excellent package, training and opportunity for progression.

Working with a Project Quantity Surveyor you will ideally have 2 years experience in the commercial or educational construction sector. Live projects are in the Milton Keynes and Buckingham area.

Liaise with the site teams and take the lead with contract administration and record keeping
Identify opportunities to maximise cost/value management
Assist with the procurement and management of subcontract packages
Assist with the internal valuations/CVR/End Life Forecasts
Assist with preparation of contractual claims
Measure and assess the work undertaken and then submit detailed, accurate and timely applications
Support the project team in all commercial mattersThis is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Main Contractor who invest in their employees and can offer ongoing training and career development.
