Assistant Quantity Surveyor | £30,000 – £40,000 | Milton Keynes| Main Contractor | Permanent

We are urgently looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor undertaking projects across a wide-ranging variety of sectors within construction around the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas flanking the M1.

With a turnover approaching £200m, this main contractor is a stable and solid business with a history spanning close to 50 years.

The Assistant Quantity will be joining their dedicated commercial team and will work on special projects under £3m across a diverse project portfolio including laboratories, education, residential and commercial office.

Candidates will need to demonstrate experience of working in a Quantity Surveying capacity with some solid proven experience of practical project work over a 2-3 year period.

The Quantity Surveyor could arrive from either a main contractor or sub-contractor background and will need a full UK Driving License.
