About the Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking for stability and opportunity for career development. Your role will include but not be limited to: Negotiating and preparing Contracts as well as assisting with compiling the documentation required for tender selection interviews and attending these interviews. When at the pre-commencement stage you will be expected to organise the financial budgets, place sub-contract orders and liaise with logistics’ director for an organised start. The successful candidate will also be expected to roll up their sleeves and attend the site works including site meetings, assist preparing schedules of variations, co-ordinate valuations, co-ordinate the on-going budget through to final account. In addition to these you will be managing client expectations throughout the project to avoid conflict on financial issues.

Based in Bucks, Our client is a multi-disciplined Sub-Contractor specialising in, Façade systems, Dry Lining and Fire stopping who have built an outstanding industry reputation on delivering first class construction packages within various sectors of industry including, High End Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Educational and Health
Throughout their 10 year establishment they’ve spearheaded the industry with dynamic approach and have built / maintained strong client relationships with some of the UK’s largest construction firms including Kier, Galliford Try, Multiplex and McLaren. They currently have an annual turnover of £25m and our clients’ prime focus is on packages ranging anything from £1m to £5m, working within London and Surrounding Counties.
Requirements:
To be successful all applicants must hold a degree or equivalent related to construction and must show drive and determination to secure their first position within the construction industry. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines, be flexible to adapt to change and have a keen eye for quality.
