Paradigm currently have an exciting opportunity within the Reactive Repairs Service for an Assistant Operations Manager. This is a fantastic role for either and experienced Repairs Manager or a tradesperson in a Senior post looking for progression.
Managing a team of 4 Senior Technicians and circa 20 Technicians this role is pivotal in assisting the Operations Manager for the Urgent Reactive workstream. This is a broad role requiring demonstrable experience and knowledge of the repairs and maintenance sector as well as possessing strong line management skills where leading and motivating individuals is vital.
Key responsibilities include providing direct line management to the DLO and Senior Technicians, leading by example and motivating teams to deliver excellent customer service, Pre and Post inspections of jobs to ensure correct work scopes are available and adhered to, effective Contract Management, all whilst delivering to expected standards and KPI’s.
In addition, the post holder will be one of three duty managers for the out of hours service requiring extensive knowledge of recent building legislation & codes of practice Health and Safety awareness training to the required industry standard. Being an out of hours duty manager attracts an enhanced on call allowance which is in addition to the base salary.
