About the Company

This is one of my top clients and they turnover approximately £50 Million and have been around for around 25 years of trade. They deliver mostly to the industrial and commercial markets. They work on projects up to £15 Million in value and have a very successful order book for this year along with a lot of repeat business. The work is predominantly industrial units comprising of steel frame, metal cladding, category A fit out and external works including civils & drainage.

About the Role

My client need an assistant design coordinator to work underneath their design manager based full time in their Milton Keynes office.

Responsibilities will include

Carrying out drawings reviewed to identifying clashes, errors, omissions and issuing our comments.

Reviewing design information to ensure compliance with the contract specifications, drawings, and relevant documents.

Providing design support to Project Management teams.

Review and implement value engineering opportunities.

Attend design team meetings to co-ordinate architects, engineers, and sub-contractor information. 

Utilising specialist consultants coordinate the information

Coordinate the submission of information

Submitting Design information to the client team

Ensure all drawings are distributed to the design team and sub-contractors. 

Reporting design progress to the design manager

About the Salary

My client will pay up to £40K plus a car allowance plus a car or allowance and a discretionary bonus.
