Assistant Buyer

You will be responsible for assisting with all procurement, ensuring materials are delivered to sites and purchased at competitive prices, produce material schedules and tenders, assess and compare quotes, process orders, research new products and organising site call offs. Projects are design & build residential/student accommodation projects, values are between £2m and £15m.

Our client are a smaller contractor specialising in new build and refurbishment construction projects, deploying a diverse range of skills on varied contract types.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role you must:

• Be able to demonstrate the experience and ability necessary to perform the aforementioned responsibilities
• Be able to demonstrate longevity of service

Duration

This is a permanent role.

Location

Our client are based in Milton Keynes and projects are nationwide.

Salary/Package

£25k – £40k per annum plus package
