About the role
This is a brand-new pioneering role in the recently formed Strategic Asset Management team and will be pivotal in improving our housing assets to ultimately achieve net zero carbon outputs. In so doing you will be significantly reducing customers energy costs and enhancing comfort in their homes.
You will be responsible for planning and implementing investment in Paradigm properties to improve energy efficiency and sustainability with the target of ultimately achieving net zero carbon.
It will involve managing the assessment of properties and introduction of measures to improve building fabric and the installation of renewables technology. Accessing and maximising grant funding will be crucial to the success of the role.
Reporting to the Assistant Director – Strategic Asset Management, you will be supported by energy assessors, surveyors and technical assistance and will utilise your considerable networking skills to collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation and wider sustainability community.
About you
You will have great technical, planning and delivery skills and a passion for excellent service with experience in improving the energy performance of built assets. Working via a mixture of office, remote and homeworking you will be driving the zero-carbon agenda for our homes; with this in mind, experience of delivering results within a Housing environment is desirable.
Ideally you will be professionally qualified in a relevant discipline and conversant with all aspects of retrofit and technological solutions for the improvement of homes. You will be familiar with, and ideally have experience of various grant funding regimes with a proven track record in successful application.
