Area Sales Representative

£30,000 – £35,000 (salary depending on experience)

£40,000 – £50,000 OTE

Specialising in the construction industry, we are a market leader of specialist equipment which we hire and sell on a National basis. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver exceptional service into civil engineering & construction clientele. As we are a market leader, we currently have a great reputation but also with that becomes great responsibility so we are scouting for someone who has experience within construction whether you sell Aggregates, Plant Equipment, Cladding, Tools, Landscaping Supplies or any other construction materials / equipment we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Covering a patch of London West & Milton Keynes
Bringing in new business as well as developing some key customer accounts which will be handed over to you from our previous Rep
Working inline with Estimating, Sales Support, Manufacturing & Engineering, Technical and in conjunction with the goals of the business
Following up leads from the internal sales team and visiting customer sites booked in from the internal team
Maintaining a sound relationship with current customers who we have secured contracts with year on year
Visiting site for new customers as well as visiting existing customers to follow up, extend contracts, upsell and in general keep that relationship in place
Reporting into the Directors of the business on progress, patch development and individual targets
The ideal candidate:

Experience of selling within a construction-based company
Training will be provided however; you need to be from a field sales background and have good knowledge in the Construction field
