Due to expansion we have an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in the Plant Hire sector. Our client is seeking a dynamic individual that has previous experience in an external or internal role and will contribute to maximising the performance of the Depot by developing existing accounts and to bring in new business. This position is for an experienced individual that has experience ideally within a Construction/Plant related sector.

Reporting to: REGIONAL MANAGER

Working along with the team you will be promoting the company to exciting sectors including HOUSE BUILDERS, DEVELOPERS & CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES.

Key Responsibilities

* To develop both new & existing clients and to keep in regular contact to achieve absolute loyalty

* Create and fulfill client opportunities, following agreed procedures

* Build long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with existing and prospective clients

* Understanding customer needs and requirements , research accounts , identify key players

* Maintain & expand your data base

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

* Proven experience in sales in the Construction / Plant Hire sector

* Ability to read and understand site drawings

* Self motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision

* Confident and professional telephone manner

* Effective communication skills

* Customer focused with sound commercial skills.

* Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft Outlook
