The Role
Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager
The aim of this role will be to promote our Client’s comprehensive range of residential building products by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key national and independent Merchant accounts throughout Northampton, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
You will aim to develop strong links with the existing customer base in order to develop sales generation which can be fed back through our Client’s supply chain alongside generating new Contractor business.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Successfully manage existing merchant accounts whilst looking for new business opportunities in your territory
* Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and wide sales teams to achieve profitable growth for our Client’s product range
* Provide excellent customer service at all times
* Manage your diary and time efficiently to achieve KPIs
* Keep up to date with competitor and market activity and report to
* Continuously look for new ways to improve customer experience
* Undertake necessary training and continued personal development by taking full advantage of our Client’s world-class training systems
Skills and Knowledge Required:
* Proven track record in account management
* Proven business development track record
* Experience within the construction products sector
* Time management skills
* Self starter – ability to work on your own initiative
* Good interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
* Attention to detail
* Good communicator, both written and verbally
* Willingness to travel with some overnight stays necessary (UK based)
Location/Area Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Northampton
(The successful Candidate will live within one of these areas)
Salary Negotiable dependent on experience + Attractive Bonus incentive
