Architectural Technologist – Milton Keynes| £25,000 – £30,000

We are looking for a talented, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Architectural Technologist to join a well-established and widely recognised practice based in Milton Keynes. The company is a forward-thinking architecture practice that produces innovative work in the residential, education, commercial, leisure, and retail sectors.

The successful Architectural Technologist will be joining a diverse practice that is made of a talented team of architecture professionals. This company is focused on the development of their staff and offer training and support to continued professional development, including progression to Chartered Architectural Technologist status.

You will be working on all design stages, from concept to detail design and construction – providing you with invaluable and diverse career experience.

What’s needed from the Architectural Technologist?

* Strong Revit skills are essential.

* Ideally, you will have significant experience working on residential projects with Revit.

* Ability to produce accurate working drawings and sound understanding of UK Building Regulations.

* Code for Sustainable Homes & Construction details would also be desirable.

* Experience of working on projects in the education and healthcare sector would be a bonus.

Responsibilities will include

* Research and development of technical details, products, and systems

* Production of technical/working drawing packages

* Dealing with and submitting planning applications

* Production of written specifications

* Liaising with consultants and coordinating projects

* Attending meetings with clients, consultants, suppliers and incorporating feedback
