Architectural Technician/Technologist

Salary – 25k-35k(Depending on experience)

Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting this RIBA chartered practice, currently recruiting a Architectural Technician/Technologist. The company was established in 2002, operating from planning stages through to completion of projects. They work across the Residential, Commercial, Healthcare and Industrial sectors.

Our client pride themselves on integrated design, open communication, working practices, and cost management. The successful candidate needs to have flexibility with working on both the design and technical stages.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience working in the Residential sectors, specifically the stages 4. The use AutoCad in practice but are hoping to transition into Revit so this would be beneficial.

Essential skills / qualifications for this Architectural Technician/Technologist role:

Degree Qualified (Relevant Architectural Qualification is acceptable).
Minimum 3 years' experience.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Knowledge of UK Building Regs, producing and submitting planning applications.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, photoshop.
Experience in NBS.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK Driving licence and own transport.Key jobs duties for this Architectural Technician/Technologist role:

Producing detailed CAD drawings.
Producing planning applications.
Developing tender packaging.
Producing detailed construction drawings.
Managing small tenders.
