Caralex Recruitment Limited are recruiting for a large, five-star rated housebuilding company based in Buckinghamshire. 

They are looking to appoint an Architect into a managerial role to appoint and manage external architectural consultants on preparing of housing design. The role will be to manage the housing design across the ‘front-end’, working closely with the land team on initial sketch work as they are considering buying a site, building on this to enable planning applications to be submitted, and then give advise as the initial architectural drawings become working drawings within the technical team. 

You will be an Architect (Part I, II or III) working for an architectural practice with volume housebuilders as clients, or have held this role before moving to work for a rival housebuilder as a Design Manager or in-house Architect. You will be skilled in the production of housing layout design but now wish to work in a client side role managing external architectural practices, rather than working in one producing the drawings!
