Our client, a consultancy working across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire are seeking a talented Architect to join their expanding team. Our client predominantly works from RIBA Stages 0-4 and are seeking a talented Architect to join the team and work on a variety of exciting residential projects.

With their work mainly being with various housing associations around Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, they are open to where the successful candidate is from so talented candidates anywhere in the UK are invited to apply. Due to Covid they have moved away from a centralised office to working from home and see this as part of a long term plan. Part of their ethos is to build on the opportunity that has been presented by Covid-19 to introduce key changes to their working practices. The successful Architect should have a good knowledge of Revit using the software within a practical environment. The most successful Architect will also have a strong residential background and a portfolio to showcase former projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Architect to join a growing constancy. Our client work on a variety of small – large scale housing developments and offer excellent career progression.

Architect Position Overview

Act as project lead at times
Liaise with clients
Prepare and present feasible reports and design proposals to clients
Advise on the nature and quality of materials needed
Produce planning details
Produce planning submissions
Work on residential projects from stages 0-4
Resolve any issues or problems that arise during construction

Architect Position Requirements

ARB / RIBA Qualified Architect
Have working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Good knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe (advantageous)
New Build residential experience (preferred)
Good solid stage 3 planning experience (from initial feasibility studies, outline planning, pre-applications, to preparing and submitting full planning applications

Architect Position Remuneration

Competitive salary (£35,000 – £45,000 DOE)
