Service Manager

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Service Manager to lead and manage upto 5 Services for Young People in the Milton Keynes area.  The services support young people with a multitude of needs, including care leavers, unnaccompanied asylum seeking children and those with offending behaviousrs.   The focus is to ensure person centred care that supports individuals to achieve their individual aims and goals.

Key duties of the Service Manager for the Young People's service role:-

Responsible for providing operational and strategic leadership and management
Drive business planning activities within the local authority contract you run, tracking performance levels and developing turn around action plans if neccessary
Ensuring the smooth running of the services within budget requirements
Developing and mentoring your staff team
Committed to the delivery of high -quality person centred services
Ensuring the delivery of the Positive Behaviour Support model
Key requirements for the Service Manager role

Proven experience as a strong, supportive and effective Home manager/Service Manager
Proven track record of success at running young people's services
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
QCF Level 5 in social care /NVQ level 4 /equivalent qualification and experience
