Senior Business Development Manager
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience
Permanent Full time – 35 hours per week

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Senior Business Development Manager within the Membership department. Reporting to the Director of Membership, you will be responsible for leading structured business development activity to penetrate new sectors, based on data, analysis, planning, content creation and thought leadership.
You will also raise the profile, awareness, and relevance of our client in target sectors to deliver revenue growth.
Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal are key to the success of this role as you will be communicating with broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Work out of hours and travel expected. Some office based work is required but flexible/home working options can be explored.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level
Experience
* Experience of working in a customer facing commercial role
* Sales and business development experience
* Evidence of successfully entering new markets or sectors
* Experience of delivering growth within a Chartered Body and/or not for profit sector
Skills
* Critical thinking / ability to manipulate, interpret and utilise data
* Presentation skills
* Planning and long-term thinking
