REGIONAL DIRECTOR (P/T)

Location: WFH, Ideally located in Buckinghamshire area

Supported by the Chairman and Board of Trustees, the ideal candidate will have a passion for sport and have experience in management and leadership roles. Business and charity experience is welcome, but key to the success of the role will be your skills as a communicator. An ability to present at large gatherings in addition to the production of compelling written outputs and be adept with social media.

The role requires excellent levels of self-management, and motivation. The role is part-time and offered on a self-employed basis, ideally suiting someone with portfolio career aspirations, a retiree, or part-time consultant paying £24,000 p.a.

SportsAid Eastern is a regional charity (registration (phone number removed)) that provides financial help and recognition to emerging young talented sports people – the next generation of British sporting heroes and heroines. 61% of Team GB and had been supported by SportsAid, with our alumni winning 14 gold, 19 silver and 14 bronze medals as they starred for Team GB at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games! The 47 podium finishes claimed by beneficiaries of the charity's support came across an impressive 20 different sports.

Our geographical area spans from Essex to Norfolk, and Northamptonshire to South Bucks. We operate 26 fund-raising lunch clubs across the region supported by over 70 sponsoring organisations. We aim to award 100 talented young people £1,000 each year.

The charity has a three-year modernisation strategy, and all applicants will have their skills assessed to the strategic outputs and targets agreed by the Board of Trustees. In return for your commitment, you will benefit from enabling the cream of the region's young sporting talent rise to the very top of Britain's Sporting elite.
