Partnership Development Manager
Salary: between £35,000 and £45,000 depending on experience
Full time permanent – 35 hours per week
Location – Princes Risborough

Our client are a professional membership organisation that sets the standards for the project profession.
They have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join their Membership Team as Partnership Development Manager. Reporting to the Commercial Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for account management and retention of a set portfolio of customers. You will build effective relationships with corporate partners to increase their overall spend with the business. The successful candidate will understand customer needs and communicate products and services appropriately and adopt a consultative sales approach. They will act as an ambassador, attending internal and external events and be able to host events and run webinars as appropriate.

Knowledge of the discipline of project and programme management and an awareness of what it takes to work and succeed in the charity and professional association sector is also desirable.

Key Skills

* Effective Internal and external communication both written and oral is a key requirement of the role

* Excellent relationship Management and customer service skills

* Business and commercial acumen

* Good PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.

* Accurate data recording in CRM

* Presentation Skills

Experience

* Sales and key account management experience

* New business development

* Previous exposure to working within a Membership organisation

* Experience within the Training, educational or academic sector

A current clean driving license is essential, and the successful individual will be required to spend some time away from home.
